I mean, come on, y'all. It's 2018. Why are we still dealing with this? It's time for some real change. It's time for stricter gun laws and mental health resources. It's time for people to start taking responsibility for their actions.

We should be able to go about our daily lives without fear of being shot. We should be able to send our kids to school and know that they'll come back home safe. We should be able to go to the mall and not have to worry about a shooter taking innocent lives.

It's time for us to demand change. We need to speak up, to let our voices be heard. We need to stand up to the people who say that nothing can be done, that these shootings are just a part of life. No, that's not okay. We deserve better than this.

Rest in peace to the person who lost their life in Nashville. We won't forget you. And we won't stop fighting for a better, safer future.
